The pharmaceutical manufacturer is responsible for your medication delivery.
Prescription Hope will contact the pharmaceutical manufacturer to order your medication refill ahead of time to prevent a lapse in medication therapy.
If you have not received your refill by the expected delivery date, then do the following:
- Double-check all areas where you keep your medication.
- Please ensure that all medication is accounted for.
- Ensure that someone else in your household did not receive your refill or misplace it.
- Verify dosage changes
- In some cases, your healthcare provider may have increased your dosage. If you start taking the increased dose without notifying Prescription Hope, you may be more likely to experience a lapse in medication therapy. A change in dosage can affect when Prescription Hope needs to start processing your refill.
- Notify Prescription Hope as soon as possible if there is a change in the dosage you get prescribed.
- Does the medication get delivered to your healthcare provider’s office?
- Please call your healthcare provider to ensure they don’t already have it at their office.
- Did you receive a letter from the pharmaceutical manufacturer asking you to verify additional information?
- If yes, please contact us so we can make sure that the request gets resolved appropriately.
If you are starting to run low on your medication and haven’t received your next shipment, you can ask your healthcare provider if they can provide you with samples until you receive your next shipment.
